Linking organizational learning to cognitive processes.

This is referred to as the “cognitive perspective" according to Cook and Yanow.  One major hurdle in this analysis is the impossibility of actually seeing cognition take place, but this has actually been encroached upon by modern day neuroscience, which has reported on observed patterns in the brain that correspond to the cognitive act.
